Today we're continuing to honor the chefs and culi Today we're continuing to honor the chefs and culinary stars who donated amazing  experiences for the auction at our Annual Gala on March 12, and were there to cheer the bidders on!

A Michelin-Starred Dream Team – Chef Kevin Finch of @_ARTHURslc (international popup restaurant) and Chef Felix Santos of @SorrelRestaurant in San Francisco auctioned off not one, but two dinners! They will cook up an unforgettable 8-course meal with wine pairings from Robert Sinskey Vineyards @rsvnapa and Dot Wines @dotwinerocks 

We are so grateful to Chef Kevin @kg.finch and Chef Felix @fstagram for donating this culinary experience to benefit our Chef Training Program. In all, the combined donations, auction bidding, and partnerships before and during the Gala raised $400K, which will support 80 Chef Trainees in their journey to a better future.

We love spontaneity! In the middle of the auction We love spontaneity! In the middle of the auction at our Gala, Chef Nelson German (Chef/Owner of @SobreMesaOak) jumped in and offered THIS:

A Private Top Chef Dinner for eight guests at Sobre Mesa or the winner's home!!!
Chef Nelson German and four cast mates from Season 18 of Top Chef will cook, offer wine pairings and prepare cocktails – "booze, on booze, on food"! 

In all, the combined donations, auction bidding, and partnerships before and during the Gala raised an unbelievable $400K, which will support 80 youth on their journey to a better future through our Chef Training Program.

The live auction at our Gala was energetic and ful The live auction at our Gala was energetic and full of excitement. The bidding was fast and fun, led by our Emcee and Auctioneer Liam Mayclem. Today we're honoring the chefs and culinary stars who donated some of our auction experiences. First up is a 2-Day Farm Experience with SingleThread and DuMOL Winery.

Legendary husband and wife duo, Kyle and Katina Connaughton, will welcome the winner for a two day culinary adventure at their 3-Michelin starred restaurant and farm, @SingleThreadFarms. The winner will also enjoy a private tour of SingleThread's sister winery, @DuMOLWinery.

Food, glorious food! And wine! Our Gala guests on Food, glorious food! And wine! Our Gala guests on Sunday enjoyed a splendid dinner menu, and it couldn't have happened without delicious farm produce and wonderful wines generously donated to pair with each of the courses.

Chef Katie Reicher prepared 4 appetizers with produce kindly donated by Riverdog Farm, paired with Siete Fincas Extra Brut Sparkling Wine donated by Copa Fina Wine Imports, LLC. (photo 1: Hodo Tofu Summer Rolls)

While appetizers were passed, our cocktail team prepared delicious drinks - Chef Nelson German's cocktail included spirits generously donated by @Bacardi, and Robert Collier used spirits donated by @OrtolanRosolio and @BombaySapphire, with citrus donated by @FrogHollowFarm.

Next up was Chef James Syhabout's first course of Sweet Potato Coconut with Makrut Lime and Exotic Herbs, Caramelized Alliums and Koji (photo 2), paired with 2022 Banyan Gewürztraminer, also kindly donated.

Second Course was Tamal Enfrijolada (photo 3) prepared by Chef Val Cantú, paired with kindly donated 2022 Scribe Nouveau Pinot Noir.

Chef Kyle Connaughton's third course was Roasted Maitake Mushrooms from Far West Fungi with Farm Broccoli from @SingleThreadFarms, Onion Custard, and Hakurei Turnips (photo 4), which was paired with kindly donated 2019 DuMOL Joy Road Pinot Noir.

Last but not least, Pastry Chef Juan Contreras prepared a trio of desserts (photo 5) including Avocado Mochi, Lemon Confit and Miso Caramel Kingyoyaki; Petit Fours and Chocolate selections paired with a 2018 Robert Sinskey Vineyards Late Harvest Pinot Gris.
