We are counting down the days until our private Chef Dinner hosted in collaboration with Chef Mary Attea and Chef Camari Mick of Musket Room and Raf’s!

Musket Room is a celebrated Michelin starred, nighborhood restaurant that highlights unique flavors and local ingredients. Raf’s is a French and Italian inspired bakery and restaurant with delectable wood fired bread and mouth-watering dessert. Both offer a reliably indulgent experience that you do not want to miss!

Chef Eric Huang is a former Eleven Madison Park so

Chef Eric Huang is a former Eleven Madison Park sous-chef and is now the proud Chef & Owner of Pecking House. After nearly ten years in the fine dining industry, Chef Eric Huang changed lanes to work side by side with his uncle during the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering fried chicken to the people of New York City.

Turns out, people love fried chicken! At one point in 2021, Pecking House had an 8,000 person waitlist and regularly served 140lbs of chicken per week. A crowd favorite is their Szechuan hot fried chicken, inspired by flavors of Huang’s childhood.

Special shoutout to Chef Eric Tran of Falansai! Falansai is collaborating with Pecking House to host a Private Chef Dinner on May 8th, and you don’t want to miss it!

Falansai is a Vietnamese-Mexican restaurant located in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn who is all about feeding the world delicious foods made with Northeast American ingredients that challenge the traditional ideas of what constitutes “American” cuisine.

Chef Trainee Spotlight ✨🤩 As a kid, Daygoro

Chef Trainee Spotlight ✨🤩

As a kid, Daygoro first remembers wanting to learn how to cook as a way to help his dad. As he grew up, cooking became a fun pastime for him, and he even considered becoming a chef. This eventually led him to intern with Sprouts Chef Training at Left Bank Brasserie under mentor Chef Larry Finn.

Daygoro has an open mind about his future, with possibilities including everything from culinary school to joining a welder’s union. In addition to being eager to learn, he also has strengths in being able to see an issue from multiple perspectives, which is sure to help him on his career path. When Daygoro is not cooking, he enjoys playing football with his friends. He also draws graffiti-style lettering on blank canvases to decorate his room and has done similar art for his three younger sisters, Holly, Aziza, and Kadar. Whatever he pursues, we know that Daygoro’s creativity, attention to detail, and empathetic outlook will take him far!

We are honored to be hosting our first NYC Private Chef Dinner at Society Cafe!

Chef Nicholas McCann has over 20 years of experience in the kitchen, having worked with some of the city’s most acclaimed chefs and restaurants, including Chef Luis Bollo of Salinas before moving on to become an Executive Chef at TESSA, The Milling Room, and Corkbuzz.

Society Cafe boasts a truly seasonal menu, rotating reflective of the city’s local farmers and markets. Guests will experience unique culinary creations and craft cocktails inside of its classic art deco inspired space!
