The Executive Chef and Owner of AQ welcomes you into his restaurant for an evening of abundance and giving. Join us in a toast to Sprouts’ Chef-in-Training program as AQ treats us to a stunning 4-course dinner artfully paired with wines and spirits. Join Chef Mark before dinner for a private cocktail hour with our Chef-in-Training interns, and put in a bid at our Silent Auction for gifts donated by Alice Waters, local spas, and celebrity chefs. Sit back, relax, and let yourself be inspired by a breathtaking meal and a noble cause. Your entire evening will be donated to a young adult in need of a new start.

Executive Chef Mark Liberman
One of the Bay Area’s most accomplished chefs, Mark was born in San Francisco and raised in lush Sonoma County. He is also the Bay Areas most recent Chopped champion! Formerly the chef de cuisine at SF, Michelin-starred La Folie, Mark has had extensive training in fine dining. In 2010, Liberman was invited to New York to participate in the Bocuse d’Or USA semi-finals, where he placed among the top 10 finalists. He also earned the Rising Star Chef Award in SF and owns AQ and Fenix.
Support Chefs-in-Training
Sprouts offers disadvantaged Bay Area youth the opportunity to change their lives around by teaching them the essential vocational skills needed to land a job in the restaurant industry. For 6 months, Chef-in-Training Apprentices cook alongside some of the best chefs in the Bay Area right inside their restaurants, all while receiving a stipend for their labor. Your evening will help give the gift of a career to a young adult in need!
