Spring Camp Cooking with Chef-in-Training Christina!

Our Spring Camp this year featured guest chefs, field trips, tours, lots of cooking, and even a Chopped-style competition! One of the highlights included a class where our aspiring chefs learned how to master Fettuccine Alfredo from one of our very own Chefs-in-Training, Christina!
After spending the morning on the sunny patio of Pizzaiolo making panzanella with seasonal veggies, we packed up and made our way to Kitchen on Fire where we met Chef Christina!
Christina has been interning with Boulevard since last October, so she had some great techniques and stories to share from her time there cooking with Chef de Cuisine Dana Younkin! With Christina’s help, we made our own pasta (from scratch!) and got to roll and cut it ourselves into beautiful fettuccine. And, the alfredo recipe Christina taught us was even more delectable than almost any other Alfredo sauce we’ve ever had! You can find both recipes below!
We had the most wonderful day learning, creating, and tasting new things that we hope your kids will try at home! It was incredible to see your aspiring chefs work together to cook such delicious dishes and share the process and final product with each other. A day filled with Panzanella and Pasta, what could be better?!
