Support Sprouts with a night out!

This October, Chef Mentor Seth Stowaway invites you to a collaborative dinner pop-up with Top Chef contestant Sara Hauman! Proceeds from the event sponsor Sprouts youth.

THE DINNER

On October 21 and 22, Chefs Sara and Seth will celebrate the bounty of California’s oceans and forests in an interactive evening of giving and eating. Proceeds from the event sponsor the chef training and job placement of Sprouts Chef Trainees like Sandra.

THE STORY

This summer, Osito Chef/Owner Seth Stowaway hosted his first Sprouts intern, Sandra. As Sandra opened up to her kitchen family and developed cooking skills, she sparked Chef Seth’s desire to help Sprouts sponsor even more interns. He enlisted Top Chef Contestant and James Beard Rising Star Semi-Finalist Sara Hauman to help.

THE DETAILS

Join Chefs Seth and Sara for this two-night-only event, hosted at Osito Restaurant in Downtown San Francisco. The hosts say it will be a special collab, exploring sustainable fish from the Pacific Northwest and the forests of the California Coast.

Sprouts Chef Training is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit equipping youth to rise from hardship through culinary training and job placement. Youth are paired with a chef mentor and case manager to develop the skills needed to secure and maintain a culinary job. Graduates use these entry-level jobs to kickstart culinary careers, pay for education, or pursue new industries.
