Cook AND Serve Veggie Packed Pizzas and Calzones!

Chef Vern from Jersey Pizzeria has invited 15 aspiring chefs into his restaurant to join his kitchen team! Sprouts kids will not only learn how to make artisanal pizzas and calzones, but they will also be serving up their creations for family and friends! Our culinary journey will start in the kitchen where our young chefs will meet and greet with Chef Vern, who will teach us about seasonality as we customize our pizza and calzones with fresh vegetables and homemade tomato sauce. We’ll even learn the secret to making delicious pizza dough and how to twirl and toss it like the pros! Restaurant service will be of the essence as we learn the art of hospitality, professional table setting, greeting and plating. After cooking and serving our guests, our aspiring chefs will reward themselves by joining family and friends at the table to enjoy lunch together. Of course, Chef Vern will be with us for the entire experience, leading our Italian crusade and introducing himself to guests during lunch!
The Restaurant:
Located in downtown SF, Jersey is an East-Coast style pizzeria started by the same Jersey boys that own Town Hall, Salt House and La Capra!

Don’t forget to invite mom, dad, brother and sister (and maybe even your favorite teacher!) to join in on the delicious homemade pies! Our youth chefs will get the opportunity to serve their loved ones their delectable Italian creations!
