Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs!
We are so EGGcited about this special Easter class! Join us for a wild adventure in kitchen chemistry as we use onion skins, cabbage, berries, turmeric and more to decorate eggs for the holiday! Kiddos will simmer different food-based dyes, decorate their own eggs, and then show off their culinary artwork! We will talk about the power of plant chemicals as your young culinary pros get creative with wax, leaves and natural dyes! Then, we will whip up a gluten free cookie that we will cut out in a festive egg shape, with a “yolk” made with tasty orange marmalade!
