Bring in the New Year by strutting your bakin’ stuff in the Ultimate Baklava Battle: Sweet vs. Savory! We will start out the Bake-Off with sweets first! Our Guest Sprouts chef will show us how to make mouth-watering chocolate baklava using authentic phyllo dough, and divulging her secret, chocolate sauce recipe. Once that’s in the oven, we’ll dive into the savory recipe. We’ll start out by learning how to make our very own ricotta, which we will fold into our savory, roasted vegetable baklava dish. Then comes the best part! Tasting! We’ll throw in our aprons and get ready to test and taste each one, deciding the winner! We can’t wait to get baking with you, and see which baklava wins the competition!
