What is your profession?
I am a finance attorney. I love that I am able to help our clients solve problems.
What made you interested in food?
My father was a surgeon who loved to cook gourmet meals for his family: paella, bouillabaisse… We also always ate meals as a family, so I truly appreciate how food connects families.
Why are you interested in cooking/food/education?
I love food, and I also love the social experience of sharing a meal.
Why do you think the work that Sprouts is doing is important?
It is so important to teach kids how to cook with healthy ingredients–cooking is a life skill! I also value that Sprouts gives back to the community through the Chef-In-Training Program.
Why is it important for kids to learn how to cook for themselves?
It is a life skill that they will not only use daily, but that they can [ass on to their kids and share with parents and siblings.
What was one of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had as a Sprouts fan?
When I met a Chef-In-Training intern! I got to learn how Sprouts changed his life by giving him new employment opportunities to build a new life.
