Intern’s Story: Cooking is a true source of passion and inspiation for our intern Layne.  Growing up watching her father cook, Layne saw that cooking had the potential to be both an essential need and an art form.  She soon discovered that it served as a creative outlet and she struggled with an unstable home life and school.  Inspired to pursue the idea of cooking as a career, she enrolled in Sprouts’ Chef-In-Training Program and was accepted to an internship at 3rd Cousin.  Layne soon won over the 3rd Cousin and Sprouts’ staff with her admirable work ethic and nothings-impossible attitude.  Layne is incredibly appreciate of this vocational opportunity and plans to work as a personal chef.
